Tanzania GIS & ICT Solutions (TANGIS) Limited is a company registered in Tanzania providing geospatial intelligence, ICT solutions, and related advisory services to government, corporate, and institutional clients across East Africa. Our registered office is in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

These Terms of Service provide a baseline framework and are supplemented — and in the event of conflict, superseded — by the terms of any specific service agreement.

Key principles applying to all TANGIS commercial engagements unless varied by specific contract:

• TANGIS will perform services with reasonable care and skill, using appropriately qualified personnel
• Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information required for service delivery
• TANGIS retains ownership of methodologies, tools, and frameworks developed prior to or independently of any engagement
• Deliverables are provided for the purposes specified in the relevant service agreement
• Payment terms are as specified in each service agreement or proposal

TANGIS treats all client information, project details, and technical data as confidential. We will not disclose client information to third parties without prior written consent, except where required by law or as necessary to engage approved sub-contractors bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations.

Where a specific engagement requires a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) or confidentiality clause, those terms are incorporated into and supplement these general terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• TANGIS’s total liability to any party for any claims arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the fees paid by that party to TANGIS in the 12 months preceding the claim
• TANGIS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data
• The website and its content are provided “as is” without any warranty of any kind, express or implied
• TANGIS does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
